After being a trainer for about 8 years, Deborah Stanton
found the toughest part of the job was helping people change their habits.
The first program she completed ( ACE, 2015 ) was very useful, but she wanted more.
She began the Wellcoaches program in 2017.
This changed the way she worked with clients indefinitely.
Up until then she had found Personal Training to be a bit myopic and repetitive.
Coaching Changed that. It made the experience more visceral and engaging.
Wellcoaches gave her the skills she needed to help clients progress to the next level.
So what is Wellness Coaching?
Coaching is a client centered approach.
The client is the expert on their journey, Coaches are just holding space.
A coach is your accountability partner, an expert in their field but not managers of your life.
A coach in not a therapist, they are guides, mirrors to help you see what needs to be illuminated.
Coaching is a creative process. You will talk about possibility, the future and what you are capable of.
(Hint: you are capable of amazing things)
The second you walk in for a physical assessment,
to the moment you sit down for your lifestyle assessment;
we explore all types of tools and practices that will work best for you.
Expect a Coaching session to be explorative but also structured. You are there to talk about what you want to change but also to talk about what's working.
You are also there to celebrate your wins and make a plan to do more of what brings you joy.
Coaching sessions can be purchased individually or with a personal training package.
If you choose to only do Personal Training the "Coach Approach" is utilized in all of our services. It's how we work with everyone. It's our jam..
